Camden County law enforcement is trying to determine the identities of two suspects in the fatal shooting of a former college football star earlier this year.
The victim, a man from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, was shot and killed shortly after noon on August 16, 2016. The victim was walking along 28th Street and approaching the intersection with Saunders Street in Camden New Jersey when someone fired several gunshots in his direction.
The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene. He was 26 years of age at the time of his death.
Detectives with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Camden County Police Department investigated the fatal shooting and got video surveillance images that show two suspects walking in the area of the shooting incident not long after the gunshots were fired. However, investigators have yet to identify the suspects in the case.
Now Camden County prosecutors have offered a $5,000 reward for information that results in an arrest and conviction for the fatal shooting. Anyone who has information about the suspects or the homicide should contact Camden County NJ detectives at 856-225-8475 or 856-757-7420.
