A Brooklawn New Jersey police officer provided a tip to Evesham police that led to the arrests of three shoplifting suspects.
According to authorities, the three male suspects stole expensive merchandise from a Target store in Evesham Township, NJ. The stolen merchandise reportedly had a retail value of thousands of dollars.
After the shoplifting incident, Evesham NJ police posted photographs of the shoplifting suspects. A short time later, a police officer with the Brooklawn Police Department saw the photos and recognized the suspects as individuals who had previously been arrested in Brooklawn in Camden County, New Jersey.
The Brooklawn police officer contacted Evesham NJ police, which prepared arrest warrants for the three suspects.
Not long after that, loss prevention officers at the Evesham Target store dialed 911 and alerted local police that the suspects had returned to the store.
The suspects were reportedly trying to steal Dyson vacuums when Evesham NJ police officers arrived at the scene and arrested them.
The three suspects, who reside in Westville in Gloucester County, face criminal charges for third degree shoplifting. The suspects were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia because police allegedly found them with drug-related items at the time of the arrests.
After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspects were remanded to the Burlington County Jail. They were being held at the correctional facility on separate bail amounts of $10,000.
