A hotel worker in Mount Laurel NJ has been accused of brazenly stealing $2,000 from a safe at the hotel.
According to law enforcement, the suspect was employed in an undisclosed capacity at a hotel located on Diemer Drive in Mount Laurel, NJ.
Police have not yet revealed the hotel where the theft reportedly occurred. However, it is known that there are two hotels on Diemer Drive off Route 73 in Mount Laurel: the Hyatt House and the Extended Stay America.
Another worker at the hotel reportedly saw that $2,000 in cash had gone missing from the safe, so he alerted his boss and then reached out to local law enforcement.
The Mount Laurel Police Department got involved and investigated the theft allegations. Investigators eventually gathered enough evidence to arrest the suspect.
