Gloucester Township Burglary AttorneysPolice in Gloucester Township NJ recently arrested a Pine Hill man who allegedly burglarized a local business and stole items from the store safe.

According to authorities, the theft incident went down on January 17, 2016. The suspect reportedly gained access to United Supply Company, which is located at the VPR Commerce Center on Lower Landing Road in Gloucester Township, NJ.

The Gloucester Township Police Department got a report of the burglary the next day and immediately started an investigation. Workers at the business told police officers that someone took the store safe, in addition to a generator and plumbing supplies.

Gloucester Township investigators also learned that the suspect probably tried to break into other nearby businesses, including trailers in the complex’s parking lot.

Gloucester Township police were unable to identify the suspect from video surveillance footage, so they released images of the suspect to the public. As a result, police were eventually able to identify the suspect as a 29-year-old man who lives on Jackson Avenue in Pine Hill, New Jersey.

The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with several crimes, including burglary, theft of movable property, and criminal mischief.

If the suspect is convicted on the burglary charges, he could face severe penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:18-2, burglary is usually classified as a third degree crime. A conviction for third degree burglary could result in a sentence of 3-5 years in NJ State Prison.

After being arrested and processed, the suspect was remanded to the Camden County Jail. He was being held at the correctional facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.
